Product Description

Our company's production of ceramsite is mainly based on clay as the raw material, mixed with a certain proportion of pore-forming agents and inorganic aggregates, and processed through a series of procedures such as batching, pre-mixing with water to form balls, high-temperature firing, and screening. It is a spherical granular material. Its main component is metasilicate of alumina, presenting a dark brown or grayish-brown color, and the particle size can be produced according to different requirements. The rough surface with numerous micro-pores makes biological ceramsite particularly suitable for the growth and reproduction of microorganisms on its surface. Modern water treatment processes fully utilize these characteristics, making it an ideal filter material for water treatment, especially for biological pre-treatment of sewage and slightly polluted source water, as well as for water supply filtration technology. Coupled with its moderate density, high strength, resistance to friction, stable physical and chemical properties, and no release of toxic or harmful substances into the water, it has become the preferred filter material for water treatment projects.
