Product Description

Volcanic rock filter material is made of natural volcanic rock ore as a raw material. It is used in a biological aerated filter, a denitrification biological filter and biological fluidised bed technology. Its main components are dozens of minerals and trace elements such as silicon, aluminium, calcium, sodium, magnesium, titanium, manganese, iron, nickel, cobalt and molybdenum. It appears to be irregular particles with red, black and brown colours. It has a light porous quality and strong physical and chemical properties. It is especially suitable for the growth and reproduction of microorganisms on its surface to form biofilms. It is mainly used in biodegradable organic industrial wastewater, municipal sewage, reclaimed water, reclaimed water, household miscellany drainage, micro-polluted water source, etc.
